Thus,suchanallegationisalsonotanappropriategroundforhabeasrelief.     Thepetitionerfurtherallegesthathisconvictionsarevoidbecausehewasconvictedand   sentencedinanAndersonCountycourt,andheclaimsthattheAndersonCountycourtdidnothave p jurisdictionoverhimbecausetwoofthecrimesatissuewerecommittedinRoaneCounty. Proof \ ofvenueisnecessarytoestablishthejurisdictionofacourt,butitisnotanessentialelementofany H offenseandneedonlybeprovedbyapreponderanceoftheevidence.Statev.Hutcherson,790 4 S.W.2d532,535(Tenn.1990).Furthermore,beforeajudgmentmaybevoidduetotheconvicting  p courtslackofterritorialjurisdiction,thelackofjurisdictionmustbeclearfromthefaceofthe  \ judgmentorintheoriginaltrialcourtrecordbeforeapetitionermaybeentitledtohabeasrelief.See H Statev.Ritchie,20S.W.3d624,633(Tenn.2000). 4   Theproofintheoriginaltrialrecordestablishesthatthepetitionercommittedtwocountsof  coercionofawitnessatabusinessthatbordersAndersonandRoaneCountiesbutpaystaxesin  AndersonCounty.Thisinformationsupportsafactfindingthatthepetitionercommittedthesetwo  offensesinAndersonCounty,thusgivingtheAndersonCountycourtsterritorialjurisdictionover l thepetitionerfortheprosecutionoftheseoffenses.SeeHutcherson,790S.W.2dat535.
