OnJanuary10,1994,theAppellantpickedhisgirlfriendupatafriendshouse.TheygotintotheAppellantscarandweresooninvolvedinaheatedargument.TheAppellanteventuallypulledoverinaparkinglotwherethequarrelcontinued.Anoffdutypoliceofficerwitnessedthealtercationfromaservicestationacrossthestreet.Theoffdutyofficercrossedthestreethopingthathecouldsettlethedispute.WhentheAppellantrealizedthatsomebodywasapproaching,hegotintohiscaranddroveaway.Theofficer,inhisprivatecar,followedtheAppellantandtriedtostophim.Therecordisunclearastowhathappenednext,butitappearsthattheofficerstoppedtheAppellantontheinterstate,thattheAppellantescapedthisstop,andthathewaslaterchasedbyotherpoliceofficersdowntheinterstateatspeedsupto100milesperhour. Afterbeingindicted,theAppellantpledguiltytoonecountofrecklessendangerment.Thetrialjudgesentencedhimtooneyearintheregionalworkhouseandoneyearonsupervisedprobation.ThetrialjudgethenorderedthetimeintheworkhousetobereducedtoprobationaftertheAppellantservedfortytwodays. TheAppellantarguesthatthetrialjudgeerredbynotorderingthatheservehisfullsentenceonprobation.TheAppellanthaswaivedthisissue. Whenanaccusedseeksappellatereviewofanissueinthiscourt,itisthedutyoftheaccusedtopreparearecordwhichconveysafair,accurateandcompleteaccountofwhattranspiredwithrespecttotheissueswhichformthebasisoftheappeal.Statev.Bennet,798S.W.2d783,789(Tenn.Crim.App.1990).Whenanappellantcontendsthathissentenceisexcessive,butfailstoincludeatranscriptfromthesentencinghearing,theissueofexcessivesentenceswillbeconsideredwaived.Statev.Ivy,868S.W.2d724,728(Tenn.Crim.App.1993);seealsoTenn.R.App.P.24(b).Moreover,iftheappellaterecordisinadequate,thereviewingcourtmustpresumethatthetrialjudgeruledcorrectly.Ivy,868S.W.2dat728;Herronv.State,456S.W.2d873,876(Tenn.Crim.App.1970).
