OPINION ? `     ` TheDefendant,MichaelBrentCook,appealsasofrightfromtherevocationofhisprobationbytheSumnerCountyCriminalCourt.Hecontendsthatthetrialcourtabuseditsdiscretioninrevokinghisprobation.Weaffirmthejudgmentofthetrialcourt. ` OnJune6,1996,Defendantpledguiltytoburglary,felonyvandalism,andcontributingtothedelinquencyofaminor.Defendantreceivedaneffectivesentenceoftwo(2)yearswhichwassuspendedandDefendantwasplacedonsupervisedprobation.Hewasorderedtopay$1704.42inrestitutionandtoperform200hoursofcommunityserviceworkatGallatinMiddleSchool.OnFebruary18,1997,aprobationviolationwarrantwasissuedallegingthatDefendanthadfailedtoreporttotheprobationoffice,hadmadenorestitutionpayments,hadnotperformedanyserviceworkattheschool,andhadmadenoprobationfeepayments.AnamendedaffidavitandwarrantwerefiledallegingDefendanthadbeenconvictedofburglaryinRutherfordandWilsoncounties.ThesefelonyoffensesoccurredwhileDefendantwasonprobation. ` Attherevocationhearing,ProbationOfficerMarvinPowelltestifiedthatDefendantunderstoodhisprobationaryobligationsandthathehadfailedtofollowthem.HesaidthatDefendantsrecordsindicatedthatDefendantmadenorestitutionorprobationfeepayments.HetestifiedthatDefendantspublicserviceworkcoordinator,LarryJohnson,reportedthatDefendanthadnotperformedanyworkattheschool.Furthermore,PowelltestifiedthatDefendanthadbeenconvictedofburglaryintwodifferentcounties,justsixmonthsafterbeingplacedonprobation. 9V01 PowelladmittedthatDefendanthadreportedtohimonamonthlybasisupuntilNovember22,1996,andthatDefendantsincarcerationfortheburglariesonDecember2,1996,wouldexplainDefendantsnoncomplianceafterthatdate. `  ` DefendanttestifiedatthehearingthathehadfailedtoreporttohisprobationofficerafterNovember22,1996,becausehehadbeenincarceratedfortheburglaryconvictions.Defendantsaidthathewaspayingonhisrestitutionandthattheclerksofficeshouldhavearecordofit.HealsotestifiedthatheworkedattheGallatinMiddleSchoolfourtosixweekendsforfiveorsixhourseachtime.Hesaidtheschoolprincipalwassupposedtoreporthisworktotheprobationoffice.Headmittedgettingintoxicated,whichwouldalsobeaviolationofhisprobation,andcommittingtheburglaries.HetestifiedthatsincebeinginjailfortheburglaryconvictionshehasbeenworkingongettinghisGEDandthathehasanewoutlookonlife. `     ` Atrialcourtmayrevokeprobationandordertheimpositionoftheoriginalsentenceuponafindingbyapreponderanceoftheevidencethatthepersonhasviolatedaconditionofprobation.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035310and311.Thedecisiontorevokeprobationrestswithinthesounddiscretionofthetrialcourt.State /&& v.Mitchell,810S.W.2d733,735(Tenn.Crim.App.1991).Probationrevocations 2(( aresubjecttoanabuseofdiscretion,ratherthanadenovostandardofreview. 4** Statev.Harkins,811S.W.2d79,82(Tenn.1991).Anabuseofdiscretionisshown 6,, iftherecordisdevoidofsubstantialevidencetosupporttheconclusionthataviolationofprobationhasoccurred.Id.Theevidenceattherevocationhearing  :00 needonlyshowthatthetrialcourtexercisedaconscientiousandintelligentjudgmentinmakingitsdecision.Statev.Leach,914S.W.2d104,106(Tenn.Crim.App. h  1995).Onceitisdeterminedthatadefendanthasviolatedhisprobation,thecourthasthediscretiontoorderthedefendanttobeginservinghissentenceasoriginallyentered.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035310and311(d);SentencingCommissionCommentstoTenn.CodeAnn.4035310;Statev.Duke,902S.W.2d424,427 (  (Tenn.Crim.App.1995). ` Defendantadmittedatthehearingthatheviolatedthetermsofhisprobationbygettingintoxicatedandcommittingtwofelonies.Thisconstitutessubstantialevidencetosupportthetrialcourtsrevocationorder.See,e.g.,Statev.Yvonne P Burnett,C.C.A.No.03C019608CR00314,KnoxCounty(Tenn.Crim.App. X Knoxville,July25,1997)(Rule11applicationdenied,Apr.13,1998).Furthermore,DefendantsprobationofficertestifiedthatDefendanthadmadenorestitutionorprobationfeepaymentsandthathispublicserviceworkcoordinatorhadnorecordofanycommunityserviceperformedbyDefendant.Defendanttestifiedthat [s]omebodymessedupsomewhereinregardstotherebeingnorecordastohiscommunityservicework.However,initsfindingsoffact,thetrialcourtaccreditedthetestimonyoftheStateswitnessastothedisputedfactsinthiscaseandrevokedDefendantsprobation.ThelowercourtwasthenstatutorilyauthorizedtoimposeDefendantsoriginaltwo(2)yearsentenceuponrevocationofprobation.SeeTenn. 2(( CodeAnn.4035310and311.WecannotsaythatthetrialcourtabuseditsdiscretioninorderingDefendanttoservethetermsofhisoriginalsentence.  8..  ` Accordingly,thejudgmentofthetrialcourtisaffirmed. x   h     `  `  `     h     ____________________________________ `     h   THOMAST.WOODALL,JudgeCONCUR:___________________________________GARYR.WADE,PresidingJudge___________________________________JAMESCURWOODWITT,JR.,Judge
