Inthisappeal,theappellantcontendsthathissentenceisexpiredbasedonsentencecreditstowhichheclaimsheisentitledbutwasnotgiven.Indenyingrelief,thetrialcourtfoundthatitwaswithoutjurisdictiontoreviewthecalculationofsentencereductioncredits.  Ahabeascorpuspetitionmustcontainallegationssuggestingeitherthatthepetitioner'sconvictionsarevoidorthathissentencehasexpired.Otherwisethepetitionisfaciallyinvalidandsubjecttosummarydismissal.Archerv.State,851S.W.2d157(Tenn.1993).HabeascorpusreliefisnotavailabletochallengeDepartmentofCorrectionmattersthathavenobearingonthevalidityoftherestrainingconviction,theresultingsentence,ortheexpirationofthesentence.See,e.g.,Statev.Warren,740S.W.2d425,428(Tenn.Crim.App.1986).Thus,complaintsregardingsentencecreditmiscalculationsthatrelatetoreleaseeligibilityshortoffullserviceofthesentencedonotwarranthabeascorpusrelief.  Inthepresentcase,theappellantscontentiondealswithinactionsbytheDepartmentofCorrectionrelativetoproperlycreditinghimwithsentencereductioncredits.Asthetrialcourtconcluded,theappellantsclaimdoesnotstateagroundforhabeascorpusrelief.̀  Accordingly,basedonourreviewoftheappellantsbrief,thestatesmotion,andtherecordinthiscase,weconcludethatthisisanappropriatecaseforaffirmanceunderRule20.
