N+&, SandersgotintoadisagreementwithhersisterinlawandleftwiththeDefendantinhercar.Inthe 4,'- meantime,Sanders'sisterinlawcalledthepolice.Apoliceofficerrespondingtothecallrecognized -j(. Sanders'carfromthedescriptionthathersisterinlawhadgiven.Whenthecarwaspulledover,the  Defendantwasdriving,andSanderswasinthepassengerseat.Asecondofficerarrivedonthescene  shortlythereafteranddetectedanodorthatsmelledlikemarijuanainthecar.Theofficersearched | theDefendantandfoundwhathebelievedtobeasmallbagofmarijuanaintheDefendant'spocket. b TheofficerplacedthebagonthetrunkofSanders'car;however,theDefendantwasabletograbthe H bagoffthetrunkanddumpitscontentsinthegrass.Thecontentswerenotrecovered. . ~   Thetrialcourtinitiallyadmittedtestimonyregardingthesmallbagofmarijuana,butlater  J decidedthatithaderredandinstructedthejurynottoconsideranyevidenceregardingthebagtaken  0 fromtheDefendant.#X9XXX9#X9XXX9#VXX9 #X9XVԀ      Sanderswastakentojailonaweaponscharge,whereasearchdisclosedalargeamountof   marijuanainherpants.Sanderstestifiedthatwhilehercarwasbeingpulledoverbythepolice,she x  hadputthemarijuanathathadbeenundertheseatintoherpants.Theonlyevidencepresentedat ^  trialwhichwouldsuggestthattheDefendantknewaboutthemarijuanainthecarisSanders' D  testimonythatearlierinthedaytheDefendanthadaskedhertogethimsomemarijuana.Thus,the *z  Defendantchallengesthesufficiencyoftheevidenceusedtoconvicthimofknowinglypossessing ` themarijuanathatwasfoundonthecoDefendant.
