Onthethirtiethofthatmonth,hetenderedguiltypleastosixcounts  d ofaggravatedburglary,fivecountsoftheftoveronethousanddollars,andonecountofpossession  J ofanillegalweapon. FollowingaDecember1997sentencinghearing,hereceivedposttrial  0 diversionandwasplacedonprobationforaperiodofsixyears. SeeTenn.CodeAnn.4035313.      InJulyandSeptemberof1998,thedefendantsprobationsupervisorfiledtwoaffidavits    allegingthatthedefendanthadfailedtocomplywithnumerousspecificconditionsofhisprobation.   Theseallegedviolationsinvolvedtwosubsequentmisdemeanorarrests;apositivetestformarijuana x  usage;atleasttwelveoccasionsonwhichthedefendantwasnotpresentforcurfew;unperformed ^  publicservicehours;andfailuretoprovideproofofobtaininginpatientdrugandalcoholtreatment, D  proofofattendingAlcoholicsAnonymousorNarcoticsAnonymous,andproofofpayingcosts.  *z    Afteracombinedrevocationandsentencinghearing,thetrialcourtrevokedthedefendants ` posttrialdiversionandacceptedhistwelvepreviouslyofferedguiltypleas.Thetrialcourtthen F sentencedthedefendantasaRangeIStandardOffendertotwoyearsforeachofthefivetheftover , onethousanddollarconvictions,threeyearsforfiveofthesixaggravatedburglaryconvictions,and  fouryearsforthesixthaggravatedburglaryconviction.Inaddition,thetrialcourtorderedallof  thesesentencestorunconcurrentlywitheachotherbutconsecutivelytotheeighteenmonthsthe  defendantreceivedfortheremainingpossessionofanillegalweaponconviction. Suchreviewshallbeconductedwithapresumptionthatthedeterminationsmadebythecourtfrom V"! whichtheappealistakenarecorrect."Tenn.CodeAnn.40-35-401(d)."However,the <#" presumptionofcorrectnesswhichaccompaniesthetrialcourt'sactionisconditioneduponthe "$r# affirmativeshowingintherecordthatthetrialcourtconsideredthesentencingprinciplesandall %X $ relevantfactsandcircumstances."Statev.Ashby,823S.W.2d166,169(Tenn.1991).In %>!% conductingourreview,wemustconsiderthedefendant'spotentialforrehabilitation,thetrialand &$"& sentencinghearingevidence,thepresentencereport,thesentencingprinciples,_sentencing ' #' alternativearguments,thenatureandcharacteroftheoffense,theenhancingandmitigatingfactors, (#( andthedefendant'sstatements.Tenn.CodeAnn.40-35-103(5),-210(b);_Ashby_,823S.W.2dat )$) 169.Thedefendanthas theburdenofdemonstratingthatthesentenceisimproper."Id.  l*%*    @      Furthermore,astheappellant,thedefendantborethedutyofprovidingasufficiently R+&+ completerecordforappeal.SeeTenn.R.App.24(b).Whenaguiltypleaisinvolved,thisCourthas 8,', heldonmorethanoneoccasionthattheguiltypleahearingtranscriptisfrequentlyifnotalways  necessarytoproperlyreviewthesentenceimposed.E.g.,Statev.Keen,996S.W.2d842,844(Tenn.  _Crim_.App.1999).Yet,thisdefendantfailedtofurnishtheCourtwiththetranscriptofhisguilty | pleahearingontheunderlyingtwelveoffenses.Becauseofthepaucityoftherecordwithrespect b tosomeofthecrimes,wefindtheinclusionofthistranscriptnecessaryforacompletepictureofthe H defendantscriminalacts.Withoutthispotentialinformation,therecordisincomplete,andwemust . ~ presumethatthetrialcourtssentencewasappropriate.Seeid;Statev._Oody_,823S.W.2d554,559  d (Tenn._Crim_.App.1991).Further,basedonthemeagerrecordbeforetheCourt,wefindthe  J defendantsallegationstobewithoutmeritforthefollowingreasons.  0    AlternativeSentencing         Turningfirsttothedefendantsclaimthatthetrialcourterredinnotconsideringhimfor x  alternativesentencing,wefindthathefailedtoprovehimselfsuitableforthisoption.Whilethe ^  defendantmaybelievethatheisentitledtoapresumptionofsuitabilityforsuchsentencing,see D  Tenn.CodeAnn.4035102(5),(6),itisdoubtfulthatthispresumptionwouldapplytoadefendant *z  beingsentencedimmediatelyfollowingtherevocationofhisorherjudicialdiversion.Furthermore, ` atrialcourtmayproperlyconsiderconfiningadefendantwhensuchisdeemed necessarytoprotect F societybyrestrainingadefendantwhohasalonghistoryofcriminalconductorwhen [_m]easures_ , lessrestrictivethanconfinementhavefrequentlyorrecentlybeenappliedtothedefendant.Tenn.  CodeAnn.4035103(1)(A),(C).Althoughthetranscriptdoesnotrecordanystatementbythe  trialcourtexplainingitsdecisiontoorderincarceration,ourreviewrevealsthatthedefendants  behaviorfallswithinthelatterguidelines.Thus,evenifthepresumptionapplied,ithasbeen t rebutted. Z   Tosupportthisconclusion,wenotethatthedefendanthasahistoryoffloutingthelawand @ evinceslittletonodesiretoaltersuchbehavior.Forexample,thepresentencereportcontainshis &v admissionthathehasexperiencedproblemswithalcoholanddrugabuseforoveradecadeyeteven  \ whenorderedtoseekhelpbythetrialcourt,hefailedtoofferproofthathedidso.Furthermore, B whileonprobation,hefailedadrugscreenandthereafteradmittedtohavingusedmarijuanaduring ( thistime.Thedefendantalsocouldnotmanagetoabidebyacurfewandwascitedforovertwelve  violationsthereof.Inaddition,hewasconvictedoftwomorecrimes.Althoughtheseconvictions  involvedmisdemeanoroffenses,onewasforunlawfullycarryingaweapon.Givenhisconviction   forpossessingasawedoffshotgunandhishavingbeenarmedatthetimeheencounteredamother p!  andhertwoyoungchildrenduringanaggravatedburglary,thisconductseemsparticularly V"! problematic.Almostincomprehensibly,hechosetoactasaboveoutlinedwhenthepossible <#" consequencesinvolvedthetrialcourtsacceptanceofhistwelvepreviouslytenderedguiltypleas "$r# whichwouldresultintwelvefelonyconvictionsonhisrecordandtheveryreallikelihoodoflosing %X $ hisliberty. %>!%   Facedwiththechancetoperformasanappropriatecandidateforalternativesentencing,the &$"& defendantfailedinahostofwaystoachievethisend.Therefore,applyingthesentencingprinciples ' #' setoutabove,wefindthatthisdefendantwasnotentitledtoalternativesentencingirrespectiveof (#( whetherthepresumptioninfavorofsuchasentenceisapplicableinthiscase.Thisissueiswithout )$) merit. l*%*    SentenceLength 8,',      Movingtothetrialcourtsallegederrorsinenhancingtwoofthedefendantssentences,we  determinethatsufficientsupportexiststoleavebothintact. Withrespecttothesixthaggravated  burglaryoffense,thetrialcourtfoundthat [_t]he_Ԁcrimewascommittedundercircumstancesunder | whichthepotentialforbodilyinjurywasgreat. SeeTenn.CodeAnn.4035114(16).Thecourt b thenutilizedthisfactortoincreasethepunishmentwithintherangetofouryears.Suchapplication H maywellhavebeenerroneous.SeeStatev.Williams,920S.W.2d247,261(Tenn._Crim_.App. . ~ 1995);Statev.Smith,891S.W.2d922,930(Tenn._Crim_.App.1994).Nevertheless,thedefendants  d conductfallsunderanotherstatutoryenhancementfactor;thus,anyerrorofthistypewouldbe  J harmless.SeeTenn.R._Crim_.P.52(a).  0   Theenhancementfactorwefindmoreclearlyappropriateinvolvesthedefendants previous    historyofcriminalconvictionsorcriminalbehaviorinadditiontothosenecessarytoestablishthe    appropriaterange.SeeTenn.CodeAnn.4035114(1).Insupportofthisfactor,wenotethatthe   defendantadmittedtohavingabusedavarietyofnarcoticsincludingmarijuana,cocaine,andLSD. x   Hisdrugusageextendsoveradecadehavingbegunwhenhewastwelve. Thistypeofactivityis ^  relevanttotheapplicationofTennesseeCodeAnnotated4035114(1).See,e.g.,Statev.Moss, D  13S.W.3d374,388(Tenn._Crim_.App.1999);Statev.Alexander,957S.W.2d1,7(Tenn._Crim_. *z  App.1997);Statev.Beard,818S.W.2d376,379380(Tenn._Crim_.App.1991).Additionally,as ` notedabove,thedefendantwascaughtwithmarijuanainhissystemduringhisperiodofdiversion. F Furthermore,hehadthetwoaforementionedmisdemeanorconvictionsatthetimeofsentencing. , ThisenhancementfactorcouldhavebeenappliedtoallofthedefendantsconvictionsattheMarch  1999sentencinghearingand,therefore,maybeusedtoenhancebothofthesentenceschallenged  bythedefendant.  #  2          Ourreviewthenleadsustoconsidermitigatingfactors.Throughhisbrief,thedefendant t doesnotarguethatanymitigatingfactorsarepresentforthesetwooffenses,andweconcludefrom Z therecordprovidedthatnoneareapplicable.SeeTenn.CodeAnn.4035113.  @   Infurtherexaminingthesesentences,wenotethataggravatedburglaryisaClassC felony &v andpossessionofanillegalweaponisaClassEfelony.AsaRangeIoffender,thedefendantfaced  \ betweenthreeandsixyearsfortheaggravatedburglaryandbetweenoneandtwoyearsforthe B possessionofanillegalweaponoffense.SeeTenn.CodeAnn.3914403,39171302,4035 ( 112(a)(3),(5).Havingdeemedoneenhancementfactorandnomitigatingfactorsapplicabletothese  twooffenses,wefindthechallengedsentencelengthsappropriate.Thisissueis_meritless_.
