Althoughacknowledginghispostconvictionpetitionwastimebarredunderthethreeyearstatuteoflimitationsineffectwhenhisconvictionbecamefinal,AppellantarguesthattheenactmentonMay10,1995,ofthenewoneyearstatuteoflimitationsforpostconvictionpetitionscreatesanadditionaloneyearperiodinwhichhemayfileforpostconvictionrelief.OurStateSupremeCourthasonlyrecentlyresolvedthisissueadverselytoAppellantsposition.Carterv.State,No.03S019612CR00117,MonroeCounty(Tenn.,Knoxville,Sept.8,1997,).Thusthepetitionforpostconvictionreliefwasproperlydismissed.
