OnDecember4,1995,communitycorrectionspetitionedforaviolationcapiasallegingdefendantfailedtoreporttohiscaseofficeronnumerousoccasionsandfailedtocomplywithhousearrestrequirements.Theseviolationswereadmittedbythedefense.Theinformalrevocationproceedingconsistedonlyoftheunswornstatementsofthecaseofficerthattheviolationwasfor notstayingathomeandnotcomingtomeetingsandthatthedefendant didrightforonlyaboutaweek.Thecourtthenannouncedthatdefendantwasresentencedtothree(3)yearsandsix(6)monthsinTDOC.Therearenofindingsintherecordtosupporttheincreasedsentence.Thewholeproceedingisencompassedintwentysix(26)linesoftranscription.Defendantwasgivenonlyten(10)dayscreditforhistimeinthecommunitycorrectionsprogram,althoughhehadbeenontheprogrameightynine(89)dayspriortothefilingoftherevocationproceeding. OnJune12,1996,counselmovedforcorrectionoftherevocationordertoallowdefendantcreditfortheadditionaldaysdefendantwasoncommunitycorrections.ThetrialcourtdeniedthemotionandfoundthatdefendantwasonthecommunitycorrectionsprogramfromSeptember18,1995,untiltheviolationpetitionwasfiledonDecember15,1995(89days).However,thecourtwentontofindthatthedefendantsservicewhilewithcommunitycorrectionswas satisfactoryforonlyten(10)daysandrefusedtoawardadditionalcredit.@ I.  Uponrevocationofacommunitycorrectionssentence,thetrialcourthastheauthoritytoincreasethesentence.Statev.Griffith,787S.W.2d340(Tenn.1990);Tenn.CodeAnn.4036106(e)(4)(Supp.1996).However,therecordmustincludespecificfindingsoffactbaseduponahearingconductedpursuanttotheTennesseeCriminalSentencingReformAct.Statev.Ervin,939S.W.2d͜581,583(Tenn.Crim.App.1996).ThefactthatthisCourtreviewsthesentencedenovodoesnotrelievethetrialcourtfromcomplyingwiththesestatutorymandates.Statev.Gauldin,737S.W.2d795,798(Tenn.Crim.App.1987).InϜthecasesubjudice,thetrialcourtdidnotconductasentencinghearingandmadenofindingstojustifytheincreasedsentence. Ordinarily,thisCourtwouldremandtothetrialcourtforanewsentencinghearing.Statev.Ervin,939S.W.2dat584.However,thisCourtalsohastheauthoritytodirecttheentryofanappropriatesentence.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035401(c)(3).Thelatteroptionappearsmoreappropriateunderthecircumstances. Therewasnoevidencepresentedtothetrialcourtwhichwouldjustifyanincreaseinthesentence.Accordingly,ourdenovoreviewindicatestheoriginalsentenceshouldbereinstated.̛̜@ II.
