Inthiscase,thedefendantincludedthewrittenjuryinstructionswiththerecordonappeal.   Unfortunately,asthestatepointsout,hefailedtoincludetheproposedjuryinstructionorthetrial p courtsrulingontheinstructionaspartoftherecord.Theappealingpartyhasa dutytopreparea \ recordwhichconveysafair,accurateandcompleteaccountofwhattranspiredwithrespecttothe H issuesformingthebasisoftheappeal.Statev.Ballard,855S.W.2d557,560(Tenn.1993);seealso 4 T.R.A.P.24.Intheabsenceofacompleterecord,wemustpresumethatthetrialcourtsrulingwas  p correct.SeeStatev.Boling,840S.W.2d944,951(Tenn.Crim.App.1992).Therefore,we  \ concludethatthetrialcourtproperlydeniedthedefendantsrequestforaconsentinstruction.
