Crabtreerelatedthatafruityodorofthebreathindicatedthepresenceofalcohol.Crabtreefurther  statedthattheappellantsspeechwasslurredandshewascombative. k   Attrial,NouriRaaipour,amedicaltechnicianinthelaboratoryatVanderbiltHospital, =  testifiedthatonFebruary28,2000,hereceivedaspecimenofbloodwiththeappellantsnameon & v it.Raaipourtestifiedthatheanalyzedthebloodinaccordancewithhospitalprocedure.Oncross  _ examination,Raaipouracknowledgedthathehadnotseentheblooddrawnfromtheappellant.  H Moreover,neitherthepolicenortheTennesseeBureauofInvestigationshadrequestedthathe  1  preservethesampleofblood.      Dr.StevenWhitetreatedtheappellantuponherarrivalatVanderbiltUniversityMedical   Center.Dr.Whitetestifiedthattheappellant wasbroughtinbyhelicopter....Andshewas   combativeandprofane.Andsheappearedtobeintoxicated.AlthoughDr.Whitecouldnotrecall n  whotooktheappellantsbloodorhowthebloodwasdrawn,hetestifiedthathedid,infact, order[] W  abloodsampletobeanalyzedforalcoholcontent.Dr.Whiterelatedthatpursuanttoprotocol, @ numeroustestswereconductedontheappellantsblood,includingtoxicologyscreensandteststo )y determinebloodalcoholcontent.#XX2#XXDr.Whitetestifiedthattheresultsreturnedfromthelaboratory b establishedthattheappellanthadabloodalcoholcontentof 295milligramsperdeciliter.
