ThisCourtfindsnoreversibleerrorandaffirmsthetrialcourtsjudgment.@+ FACTS    ` OnJanuary7,1997,undercoveroperativeSylvesterIslandmadetwocontrolledffdrugbuysinvolvingfftargetsuspectsotherthandefendant.Priortomakingeachbuy,IslandmetwithofficerSteveLeeattheairport.LeesearchedIslandandhiscar,placeda wireonIsland,andgavehim buymoney.Leemonitoredthetransactionsand,aftereach,wouldmeetIslandattheairportagaintoreceiveandsealthedrugsforanalysis.Islandwaspaidformakingeachbuy. ` Infftwoseparatetransactionsffoccurringonthisdate,Islandgavethebuymoneytothetarget;thetargetapproachedthedriverofawhitffeNissffanautomobile;andthemoneywasffgiventothedriverinexchangeforffapacketofcocaine.ThetargetthengotintotheNissan,circledtheblock,anduponreturndeliveredthepacketofcocainetoIslandwhosubsequentlydeliveredittoLee. ` IslandtestifiedffthatffthepacketshesawtransferredfromthedriveroftheNissantothetargetswerethesamepacketshereceivedanddeliveredtoLee.LeestestimonyestablishedthattheNissanwasregisteredtodefendant.LeeandIslandbothidentifiedthedefendantasthedriveroftheNissan.@  SUFFICIENCYOFTHEEVIDENCE  95; X{XXX{ ` Whensufficiencyoftheevidenceischallenged,thestandardofreviewiswhether,afterviewingtheevidenceinthelightmostfavorabletothestate,anyrationaltrieroffactcouldhavefoundtheessentialelementsofthecrimebeyondareasonabledoubt.Jacksonv.Virginia,443U.S.307,318,99ffffS.Ctffff.2781,2789,61 `  ffL.Edff.ff2dff560(1979);Statev.Evans,838S.W.2d185,190-91(Tenn.1992);Tenn. @  R.App.P.13(e).Onappeal,thestateisentitledtothestrongestlegitimateviewoftheevidenceandallreasonableorlegitimateinferenceswhichmaybedrawntherefrom.Statev.Cabbage,571S.W.2d832,835(Tenn.1978).ThisCourtwill  notreweightheevidence,reevaluatetheevidence,norsubstituteitsevidentiaryinferencesforthosereachedbythejury.Statev.Carey,914S.W.2d93,95(Tenn. P Crim.App.1995).Furthermore,inacriminaltrial,greatweightisgiventotheresultreachedbythejury.Statev.Johnson,910S.W.2d897,899(Tenn.Crim.App. ` 1995).#X{XXX{.# @  ` Defendantcontendsthestatefailedtomeetitsburdenofproofbyfailingtoshowany transfer.Heemphasizesthatthetargetsuspects,towhomthedrugswereoriginallytransferred,didnottestify. ` X{XXX{Onappeal,thedefendantclaimsthatbecauseffheandthefftargetsffwereffleft p&!$ aloneforaperiodoftime,outofsightandhearingofIslandandLee, [ffffa]nyffffrationaltrieroffactshouldeasilydeducethatitwouldbeextremelyeasyforthesetargetsuspectstohavesuppliedthecocainewhichwaslaterturnedovertoMr.Lee.Accordingtothedefendant,thisnecessarilyraisesareasonabledoubtastothesupplierofthedrugs,whichnorationaltrieroffactcouldovercomeinreachingitsverdict. ` Viewingtheevidenceinthelightmostfavorabletotheprosecutionandgiving#X{XXX{2#properweighttotheresultreachedbythejury,wefindsufficientevidenceupon p504 whicharationaltrieroffactcouldfindthedefendantguiltyofthechargedoffenses. ` Thisissueiswithoutmerit. 0948 Ї@00% CHAINOFCUSTODY    ` ff`Defendantchallengesthechainofcustodyofthedrugs.`Inffordertoadmitphysicalevidence,thepartyofferingtheevidencemustgghh eitherintroduceawitness P  whoisabletoidentifytheevidenceormustestablishanunbrokenchainof 0  custody.Statev.ffHollomanff,835S.W.2d42,46(Tenn.Crim.App.1992)(emphasis `  added).Whethertherequiredchainofcustodyhasbeensufficientlyestablishedtojustifytheadmissionofevidenceisamattercommittedtothesounddiscretionofthetrialcourt,andthecourt'sdeterminationwillnotbeoverturnedintheabsenceofaclearlymistakenexerciseofthatdiscretion.Id.Theidentityoftangible  evidenceneednotbeprovenbeyondallpossibilityofdoubt,andallpossibilityoftamperingneednotbeexcluded.Thecircumstancesmustestablishareasonableassuranceoftheidentityoftheevidence.Statev.ffKilburnff,782S.W.2d199,203 0 (Tenn.Crim.App.1989). ` Inassigningerror,thedefendantagainpointstothetimeperiodduringwhichthetargetsanddefendantwereoutsideIslandandLeesdirectffobservationa;affandthestatesfailuretocallthetargetsuspectsaswitnesses.Hearguesthatbecauseoftheselapses,thestatefailedtoestablishtherequisitechainofcustodynecessarytoadmitthedrugsintoevidence.Defendantsrelianceonthisprincipleismisguided. ` Thestateisrequiredtointroduceawitnesswhocanidentifytheevidencetobeadmitted.ffeAttrial,thestateintroducedIsland.eIslandfftestifiedthatthepacketsofdruiAttrial,thestateintroducedIsland.igssuppliedtothetargetsuspectsbydefendantwerethesamepacketsgiventohimandthathesubsequentlydeliveredthemtoLee.Leethentransportedthedrugstothecrimelaboratoryandpickedthedrugsupafteranalysis. ` Havingsuppliedthenecessarywitness,anyquestionsastotheidentityofthedrugs,thecredibilityofthewitnesstestimony,andwhetherdefendantsoldthecocainewhichwasdeliveredtoIsland,ffwbasbcerecffwithinthepurviewofthejurytodecide.Thefactthatthetargetsandthesuspectwereoutofsightforffdadperiodffoftimegoes 0948 totheweightandcredibility,nottheadmissibilityoftheevidence. ` Thisissueiswithoutmerit.@xx( CONCLUSION  P   ` Basedupontheforegoing,thejudgmentofthetrialcourtisaffirmed.*(#_________________________________ `     h     JOEG.RILEY,JUDGE   ' CONCUR: `  ___________________________________  "  PAULG.SUMMERS,JUDGE( ___________________________________  0*%( DAVIDH.ffWELLESff,JUDGE
