Afterareviewoftherecord,weaffirmthetrialcourtsjudgment. Theappellantsconvictionsstemfromtheperpetrationofsexoffensesuponhisstepdaughter,DD. +   כThejuryfoundthattheappellantrapedandsexuallyabusedhisstepdaughteroveraperiodofapproximatelyfouryears.Thevictimwaselevenyearsoldwhenthesexualassaultsbegan.Theoverwhelmingevidenceinsupportofthisverdictincludedincriminatingstatementsfromatapedphoneconversationbetweenthevictimandtheappellant. ,   ׀TheproofrelevanttotheissuebeforeusestablishedthatthevictimwasreferredformedicalexaminationtoaNashvilleclinicwhichspecializesinchildsexualabusecases.Aspartoftheexamination,thevictimsmotherprovidedinformationtoasocialworkerattheclinicwhichidentifiedtheappellantastheperpetratoroftheallegedsexoffenses.ThismedicalhistorywasthenmadeavailabletothenursepractitionerwhoperformedaphysicalexaminationofDD.Baseduponthesecircumstances,theappellantcontendsthatthetestimonyattrialofthenursepractitioneridentifyingtheappellantastheperpetratorwaserror. .
