Theappellantssoleissueonappealiswhetherthetrialcourtshouldhaveorderedhimtoserveseventyfivedaysinjail.Weaffirm. OnJanuary17,1996,theappellantandthreejuvenilessoughtoutahousetoburglarize.Afterdeterminingthatnoonewasathome,theappellantandthesejuvenilesbrokeintothehomeofGeraldBreeceandtookitemsbelongingtohim.Afterhewasarrested,theappellantconfessedtothecrimeandhelpedpolicelocatesomeofthestolenitems. Theappellantarguesthatheisasuitablecandidateforfullprobation.Hecontendsthathehasnocriminalhistorybeforetheseoffenses,althoughheadmittedtounderagedrinkingandsmokingmarijuana.HealsoassertsthatheisworkingtowardobtaininghisGED.Hefurthernotesthatheadmittedhisinvolvementintheburglaryandassistedthepoliceinrecoveringthestolenitems. Thestatemaintainsthatthetrialcourtproperlysentencedtheappellant.First,althoughtheappellantwasorderedtoserveseventyfivedaysinjail,onlythirtydaysweretobeserveddayforday,withtheremaindertobeservedin48hourincrements.Thisplanwascreatedsothattheappellantcouldmaintainemployment. Whenanappellantchallengesthelength,range,ormannerofserviceofasentence,thisCourtconductsadenovoreviewwithapresumptionthatthedeterminationsmadebythetrialcourtarecorrect.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035401(d)(1990).However,thispresumptionisconditionedonanaffirmativeindicationintherecordthatthetrialcourtconsideredthesentencingprinciplesandallrelevantfactsandcircumstances.Statev.Ashby,823S.W.2d166,169(Tenn.1991). Theappellantbearstheburdenofshowingthatthesentencewasimproper.Id.󀀀Indeterminingwhethertheappellanthasmetthisburden,thisCourtmustconsider(a)theevidenceadducedattrialandthesentencinghearing;(b)thepresentencereport;(c)theprinciplesofsentencing;(d)theargumentsofcounsel;(e)thenatureandcharacteristicsoftheoffense;and(f)theappellantspotentialorlackofpotentialforrehabilitationortreatment.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035103(5),210(b)(1990). Fromtherecordbeforeus,thetrialcourtdidindicatethattheappellantwasanappropriatecandidateforalternativesentencing,justnotfullprobation.Thecourtdeniedfullprobationbecauseoftheappellantsinconsistentworkhistory,includingathreemonthperiodinwhichhedidnotworkatall;thefactthathehadnotobtainedhisGED;andhispastcriminalbehavior,whichincludedunderagedrinkingandmarijuanausage.Indenyingfullprobation,thetrialcourtnotedthatsomeamountofincarcerationwasnecessarytoavoiddepreciatingtheseriousnessoftheoffense.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035103(1)(1990).̀ Aftercarefullyreviewingtherecordbeforeus,weconcludethatthetrialcourtdidnoterrindenyingfullprobationtotheappellant.Probationisaprivilege,notaright.Weaffirmthetrialjudgesdecision.`  p  ______________________________  PAULG.SUMMERS,JudgeCONCUR:______________________________JOSEPHB.JONES,PresidingJudge______________________________WILLIAMM.BARKER,Judge"
