However,wetakejudicialnoticeoftherecordintheappealofthepetitionersconviction.SeeState  exrel.Wilkersonv.Bomar,213Tenn.499,505,376S.W.2d451,453(1964).Ourreviewofthe k trialtranscriptrevealsthataHendersonvillePoliceDepartmentdetectivevacuumedthecardriven T bythepetitioner.SergeantDavidKey,whoisnowtheChiefoftheHendersonvillePolice =  Department,testifiedthathesenttheevidencecollectedinthecase,includingthevacuumcleaner & v bag,totheFBIfortestingandthattheFBIreturnedalloftheevidencetothepolicedepartment.An  _ FBIagenttestifiedthathefoundhairsinthebag,mountedsomeofthehairsonglassmicroscope  H slides,comparedoneofthehairstoahaircollectedfromthevictim,anddeterminedthatthetwo  1  hairsweresimilar.ThetrialtranscriptshowsthatvariousmicroscopeslidespreparedbytheFBI    werepresentinthecourtroom,althoughnotallofthemwereintroducedintoevidence.
