ÐHowever,€in€1977,€the€appellant€was€raped€on€the€TSU€campus€and€shortly€thereafter€dropped€outÐ Ô$  Ðof€school.€€The€appellant€described€1997€as€a€ð ðvery€traumatic€timeðð€during€which€she€made€poorÐ À  Ðchoices.€€She€further€related€that,€in€1997,€she€became€involved€in€an€abusive€relationship€and€passedÐ ¬ü  Ðthe€worthless€checks€out€of€desperation€to€provide€for€her€child.€€In€1998,€the€appellant€wasÐ ˜è  Ðhospitalized€at€Vanderbilt€Psychiatric€Hospital€where€she€was€diagnosed€as€manic€depressive€withÐ „Ô  Ðbipolar€disorder€and€was€placed€on€medication€which€included€Haldol,€Depakote,€Prozac,€andÐ pÀ ÐXanax.€€At€the€time€of€the€instant€offense,€she€was€not€taking€her€medication.€€The€appellantÐ \¬ Ðexplained€that€she€also€had€physical€problems.€€She€was€diagnosed€with€a€degenerative€disk€problemÐ H˜ Ðand€began€taking€Lortab€for€pain,€resulting€in€an€addiction€to€pain€medication.€€She€also€admittedÐ 4„ Ðusing€cocaine€but€reported€that€her€last€use€was€in€1999.€€The€appellant€stated€that€she€receivesÐ  p Ðpsychiatric€treatment€at€a€local€mental€health€center.€€She€contended€that€she€has€ð ðspecial€needsððÐ  \ Ðwhich€are€treatable;€therefore,€the€trial€judge€should€have€sentenced€her€to€the€community€correctionsÐ øH Ðprogram.€€Ð ä4 ÐÌà  àà ` Ðregarding€the€allegations.€€Reinhardt€advised€the€court€that€the€appellant€first€called€her€on€theÐ 8 ˆ Ðmorning€of€the€sentencing€hearing€and€asked€that€Reinhardt€make€the€payments€for€her.€€ReinhardtÐ $ t Ðexplained€that€she€had€advised€the€appellant€that€she€would€be€unable€to€help€her.€€Ð  ` ÐÌà  àà
