Thetrialjudgefoundthattheinjuryoccurredinthecourseofemployment,butdidnotariseoutoftheemployment,asrequired.Appellatereviewisdenovoupontherecordofthetrialcourt,accompaniedbyapresumptionofcorrectnessofthefindingsoffact,unlessthepreponderanceoftheevidenceisotherwise.Tenn.CodeAnn.section506225(e)(2).Conclusionsoflawaresubjecttodenovoreviewwithoutanypresumptionofcorrectness.Presleyv.Bennett,860S.W.2d857(Tenn.1993).  Generally,aninjuryarisesoutofemploymentifithasarationalcausalconnectiontothework;andanyreasonabledoubtastowhetheraninjuryaroseoutoftheemploymentornotistoberesolvedinfavoroftheemployee.Hallv.AuburntownIndustries,Inc.,684S.W.2d614(Tenn.1985);Whitev.WerthanIndustries,824S.W.2d158(Tenn.1992).Whereanemployeeisinjuredontheemployer'spremisesduringabreakperiodprovidedbytheemployer,suchaninjuryisgenerallycompensable.Wellingtonv.JohnMorrellandCo.,619S.W.2d116(Tenn.1981);Drewv.TappanCo.,630S.W.2d624(Tenn.1982);Holderv.WilsonSportingGoodsCo.,723S.W.2d104(Tenn.1987).Theruleisderivedfromthenotionthatanemployerwhodirectsorpermitshisemployeestoeatataplaceprovidedforthatpurposeorotherwisewithinthepremises,owessuchemployeesthesamedutyofprotectionfromdangertherethatitdoesattheplacewheretheemployeeswork.JohnsonCoffeeCo.v.McDonald,143Tenn.505,226S.W.215(1920).
