Theplaintiffappealsthetrialcourtsfindingthatshedidnotretainanypermanentpartialdisabilityasaresultofherworkrelatedinjury. Weaffirmthetrialcourtsjudgment. OnJuly24,1993,plaintiffwashitbyaforkliftfrombehindwhileshewassquattingtotakeplasticwrapoffsuppliesfortheworkshewasperforming.Sheinjuredherleftshoulderwhenshefellasaresultofthisaccident.Shecontinuedtoworkafterherinjuryexceptforafewbreakstoresthershoulder,eitheratherdoctorsrequestorherown,untilMarch31,1995,whenshevoluntarilyquitorretired.Shetestifiedthatshequitbecauseofhercontinuedshoulderpain,butitisnotclearfromthetranscriptwhethershegavethisreasontoheremployer.Shetestifiedthatshecontinuestoexperiencepaininhershoulderwhichlimitsherabilitytoreach,especiallyoverhead,andlift.Shetestifiedthatshehasdifficultycleaningshowersandoverheadcabinets,workinginhergardenandswimming. Plaintiffhasmostlyreceivedhertreatmentfromherfamilypractitioner,Dr.J.RichardThomasson.Hediagnosedtendinitisoftheleftshoulder.HealsodiagnosedtenosynovitisinherrightthumbafteritbegantobotherherinthelatefallofNovember1994;however,hecouldnottestifywithanycertaintyastothecauseofherrightthumbtenosynovitis.Heopinedthatshehadamedicalimpairmentratingof27%tothewholebody,whichhebrokedownto7%wholebodyimpairmentduetoherleftshouldertendinitisand22%wholebodyimpairmentduetoherrightthumbϜtenosynovitis.Dr.Thomasontestifiedtheplaintiffsthumbproblemwasdueeithertooveruseortrauma.Dr.Thomasonstestimonywasuncertainandnotpersuasiveinestablishingplaintiffsdisability,ifany,fromherworkrelatedinjury. Plaintiffwasalsoevaluatedbythreeorthopedicsurgeons.Dr.RobertE.SteinorderedanMRI,whichshowedmilddegenerativediscdiseasefromtheC5throughtheC7disks,butwaswithinnormallimits.Heopinedthatitwas anMRIthatwouldbeconsistentwithanynumberof50yearolds.Heopinedthatplaintiffhadnopermanentimpairmentasaresultofherworkrelatedinjury. Dr.RichardBagbydiagnosedfibrositis,whichhedescribedasachronicconditionofpaininthemuscles.Heorderedabonescan,theresultsofwhichwerenormal.Heopinedthatplaintiffhadnopermanentimpairmentasaresultofherworkrelatedinjury. Dr.E.RayLowerydiagnosedatrapeziusmusclestrain.Hewasnotaskedaboutpermanentimpairment. Ourreviewisdenovo,accompaniedbythepresumptionthatthetrialcourtsfindingsoffactarecorrectunlessthepreponderanceoftheevidenceisotherwise.Tenn.CodeAnn.506225(e)(2). Themedicalevidenceinthiscaseisinconflict.OnlyDr.Thomasonfoundaworkrelatedpermanentimpairment.Histestimonyis,however,uncertain,whichrendershistestimonyspeculativeasweviewthedeposition. Wherethereisadifferenceinopinionbetweentheexperts,thetrialjudgemayacceptoneopinionoverotheropinionsinreachingajudgment.Johnsonv.Midwesco,Inc.,801S.W.2d804,806(Tenn.1990).ThetrialjudgeacceptedthetestimonyofthosedoctorswhotestifiedthatplaintiffhadnopermanentinjuryastheresultofaworkrelatedaccidentandrejectedDr.Thomasonstestimony.̀ Wehaveevaluatedthedepositiontestimonyoftheexperts,aswemay,Seiberv.GreenbrierInd.,906S.W.2d444,446(Tenn.1995),andconcurinthefindingofthetrialjudge.
