What:

Youth Court Day on the Hill a chance for youth involved in youth/teen/peer courts in Tennessee to visit Nashville, observe legislative committees, and visit with state legislators.

When:
|
Tuesday April 18, 10:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Meet at the Tennessee Bar by 10:00 a.m. Parking information will be provided when you RSVP.

Where:
|
We will start at the Tennessee Bar Center, 221 4th Avenue North in Nashville and walk to Legislative Plaza.
|
Who:
|
All youth/teen court members and volunteers are invited to attend.
|
What to Wear:
|
Court or Sunday clothes no jeans, excessively baggy pants or bare midriffs. If you prefer to wear your courts polo or t-shirts, go for it!
Wear comfortable shoes. You will be walking throughout the day, be prepared. Blisters are not cool.

What to Bring:
|
Pen, notepad (for taking notes) and anything youd like to share with your legislators.
|
What NOT to Bring:
|
Anything that would get taken from you at school or court.
|

Contact your legislator
You may want to contact your legislator to let him or her know you will be at the capitol for Youth Court Day on the Hill. You can find contact information at the General Assembly web site. Just choose House or Senate from the menu and click on members to find your representative.
