Three local attorneys and a sitting judge are running for a Washington County Sessions Court judgeship created last year by the county commission, the Johnson City Press reports. Three of the candidates will face off in the May Republican primary. They are Don Arnold, who was appointed to the post by the commission after the position was created last year, and challengers Russell Kloosterman and Will Monk. The fourth candidate is Stephanie Sherwood, who is running as an independent and will face the winner of the GOP primary in the August general election.
