Both Democrats running to replace General Sessions Court Judge Gloria Dumas vowed to be on time and restore confidence in a courtroom marred by Dumas' alleged tardiness and absenteeism, the Tennessean reports. Former prosecutor Allegra Walker and private attorney Vince Wyatt are vying for the eight-year term with a salary of $165,204, overseeing one division in a court that receives the highest volume of cases in the county. The Division IV court also includes special duties hearing domestic violence cases.
