Please make plans to join your colleagues at this year's TBA Health Law Section CLE programs at the Cool Springs Embassy Suites in Franklin.  The 26th Annual Health Law Forum is set for October 9-10, 2014; and, the 14th Annual Health Law Primer is set for October 8, 2014.

26th Annual Health Law Forum

The TBA Health Law Forum is recognized as one of the premier health law programs in the country and this year's annual event is another not to be missed program.  This program includes two full days—15 hours of CLE programming­. Attendees will hear from leading experts in the field and programming will include the following sessions, and more:

  • The Affordable Care Act
  • Fraud and Abuse Update
  • HIPPA & HITECH Update
  • Government Perspectives on Healthcare Fraud and Enforcement
  • Tennessee Health Law and Legislative Updates
  • Ethics

14th Annual Health Law Primer

If you are new to health law practice or are someone who represents health care clients on legal matters and need a refresher on the major areas of health care law, this program is for you. The Health Law Primer will provide a general health law overview, with experienced health care leaders discussing the nuts and bolts of a typical health care practice.  This year's program will includes sessions on:

  • Fraud & Abuse
  • HIPPA
  • Select Topics in Health Care
  • The Life Cycle of a Physician Practice
