In the wake of the scandal involving the affair of Mayor Megan Barry and her police bodyguard, Metro Nashville police are changing the way officers are scheduled to protect the mayor, The Tennessean reports. Officers will be scheduled in a way that limits overtime, and will report in on alternating weekend days. Police spokesman Don Aaron said that the computer glitch which prevented notice of travel authorizations requests is being reviewed and fixed by Metro IT.
