U.S. District Court Judge Curtis L. Collier yesterday ordered the unsealing and public release of recordings that captured Pilot Flying J’s former president using racial epithets, Knoxnews reports. Reporters from the USA Today network requested a hearing to release the recordings, made in October 2012 of former President Mark Hazelwood, in January. Hazelwood was convicted of conspiracy, wire fraud and witness tampering in a Chattanooga-based federal court in February.
