The Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid conducted at the Southeastern Provision meatpacking plant in Bean Station on Thursday constituted the “largest single workplace raid in a decade,” The Washington Post reports. Ten people were arrested on federal immigration charges, one was arrested on state charges and 86 immigrants were detained for being in the country illegally.
