House Seeks to End Office Closings - Articles

According to FEDweek, more than 100 U.S. House members have called on The White House to stop any more closing of Social Security Administration (SSA) offices. They are also asking that any SSA offices that are currently closed be reopened. Since 2000, more that 120 offices have been closed for reasons including funding restrictions and a move toward providing services online rather than in person.
