At the request of the National Labor Relations Board, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit agreed to suspend proceedings in two labor law cases involving employee use of work email for unionizing, Bloomberg BNA reports. These cases will be on hold until the NLRB rules on the Caesars Entertainment case involving a Las Vegas casino. The ruling could lead to a reversal of the 2014 Obama-era ruling allowing employees to utilize work email for union organization purposes.
