A McMinnville widower has filed a lawsuit against Massachusetts-based New England Compounding Center after his wife died of meningitis from an infected steroid shot produced by the company, WSMV.com reports. His lawyer is requesting $50 million in damages. According to recent updates, the Center for Disease Control has confirmed 297 cases of fungal meningitis in 16 states with 23 deaths.
