TBA Law Blog

Dear T.B.A. Juvenile & Children’s Law Section Members and 2013 Guest Members:

Members who joined the Juvenile & Children’s Law Section are familiar with our newsletter, but a number of other attorneys will be receiving this.   The TBA has extended free membership in JACL to those TBA members who identified themselves as juvenile court practitioners.  We truly hope you’ll consider a paid membership in the section for the next year.   Section members receive discounts on a number of CLE presentations during the year and receive publications/newsletters of interest in addition to having the opportunity to advocate for regulatory and statutory changes.

If you have a strong inclination and the time to be active (and can follow through on commitments) we’d love to have new volunteers on the section’s Executive Council.   Most of the monthly meetings are conducted telephonically.   As a member of the Executive Council, you might be asked to contribute material for our newsletter, assist in updating the section’s website or to monitor proposed legislation to make sure the section is aware of changes relevant to the practice of Juvenile & Children’s Law.   If this interests you, please contact our incoming section chair, Daniel Bryant, of Clarksville at danielpbryant@hotmail.com

Truly Yours,

Carl E. Seely
