Dear T.B.A. Juvenile & Children’s Law Section Member (and 2013 Guest Members):

With the approach of the T.B.A. convention, we close another year of the Juvenile & Children’s Law Section. It’s been another good year – membership has increased and interest in juvenile justice issues continues to be strong.

While our section is not formally meeting at convention, I’d encourage members to try to attend. This year, Nashville is the host city and there’ll be much to do in addition to having the opportunity to meet other practitioners while picking up some quality C.L.E.

I will be rotating off as section chair – it’s been a pleasure, but it’s time for others to assume leadership roles. The in-coming section chair, Daniel Bryant, practices in Clarksville. He’ll be looking to fill his executive council with enthusiastic practitioners who have some time to devote. Council members may be called on to work on the newsletter, to coordinate C.L.E. conducted by the section, and other tasks. If you’re interested, send Daniel an e-mail at danielpbryant@hotmail.com

Truly Yours,

Carl E. Seely

2012-‘13 Juvenile and Children’s Law Chair
