Please make plans to join the TBA Environmental Law Section at their January 23, 2014 CLE - Changes in the Land Use Landscape (Koontz v. St. Johns). This informative 3.25-hour CLE will be presented at the Tennessee Bar Center in Nashville.

This program offers the general practitioner an opportunity to learn about the changes affecting land use and related environmental issues resulting from recent case law. The 2013 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Koontz v. St. Johns River Water Management District will be discussed and analyzed from a constitutional law and local government perspective.  Presenters will discuss the decision’s practical implications, including its impact on stream and wetland mitigation.
