The Office of the Federal Defender for the Western District of Tennessee is accepting applications for an assistant federal public defender in Memphis. The candidate must be committed to representing the indigent and have excellent writing, legal research, advocacy and communication skills. In addition, fluency in Spanish, experience in federal court, and knowledge of federal criminal law and sentencing guidelines is preferred.
