Tennessee Attorney General Robert Cooper has moved to block subpoenas issued as part of a hearing into the failed union vote at Volkswagen. Cooper also filed to postpone the hearing, which was scheduled to start Monday in Chattanooga. The United Auto Workers wants Governor Bill Haslam, his Economic Development Commissioner and several lawmakers to testify in order to prove there was a coordinated effort to undermine unionization, Nashville Public Radio reports.
