Former Knox County Trustee Mike Lowe today pleaded guilty to two counts of felony theft in connection with former “ghost employees,” Knoxnews reports. Lowe was sentenced by Criminal Court Judge Steve Sword to 10 years in prison, but he will serve one year, which can be reduced to seven months at the Knox County Detention Facility with credit for good behavior. He also must repay the county $200,000.
