Well Thank You Very Much

I have been reading the Tennessee Bar Journal for about 90 percent of its life and rate it a very very good professional magazine with the right balance of newsy items, practical and understandable legal articles, humo and announcements.

Thanks so much to all of you for continuing to put out such a useful and entertaining publication. Many kudos.

Required Reading

I have been practicing law for a long time, and have visited several appellate courts. Once the Eleventh Circuit included an essay titled “20 Page and 20 Minutes” in its packet for lawyers. It was excellent. Equally excellent is Mr. Davidson’s essay, “Hindsight is 20/20” (“Hindsight is 20/20: 20 Lessons Learned from 20 Years at the Tennessee Supreme Court, April 2015 Tenn. Bar Journal, by the Hon. Marshall L. Davidson III).

Simple, direct, informative and most helpful. Exactly how a brief should be written. This will be required reading for all lawyers in our offices.

Thank you.
