The TBA YLD Board invites specialty and minority bars in the state to name a representative to serve as an unfunded and non-voting member of the board. The goal of the invited guest program is to increase diversity among the board and provide an opportunity for young lawyers involved in other legal organizations to have a voice in the state bar association. See a list of all organizations invited to send representatives.

Tennessee Lawyers Association for WomenTLAW has named new officers and it is looking for members who would like to serve on a number of committees, including Annual Meeting Arrangements, Community Relations, Continuing Legal Education, Elected and Appointed Positions, Equal Opportunity and Placement, Legislation, Membership, Nominations, Publications and Technology. Visit the group’s website to learn more about these opportunities or contact Heather Ferguson, (865) 546-0500, the TLAW representative on the YLD Board.
