With early reviews of Harper Lee’s new book, “Go Set a Watchman” out this weekend, readers have had two shocking revelations: the much-beloved Atticus Finch developed racist views later in life and Lee’s attorney has hinted there may be a third book. Tonja Carter wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed today that she examined the contents of a safe-deposit box and saw the manuscript for “Watchman” lying “underneath a stack of a significant number of pages of another typed text.” Experts, under direction from Lee, will be asked in the coming months to authenticate the pages, she said, WCYB reports.
