TBA Leadership Law (TBALL) Coordinator Brittany Sims is leaving the association to begin legal studies at the University of Tennessee College of Law. The new coordinator, Kate Prince, will join the TBA next Thursday. Prince most recently was logistics and volunteer coordinator at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid-South Chapter in Nashville. She previously worked at Imagination Branding, was a reporter at the Tennessean and was a newsroom intern with WTVF News Channel 5. In addition to working with the TBALL program, she will oversee the TBA mentoring program for new attorneys and staff a new committee looking at innovations in the delivery of legal services.

Nomination forms for the 2016 TBALL Class will be available Monday and are due back by Sept. 7. Anyone interested in participating may self-nominate or reach out to a past class member to nominate them. Look for forms to be posted on the TBA website next week.

TBALL is a six-month leadership training program that aims to serve the legal profession by equipping participants with the vision, knowledge and skills necessary to serve as leaders in the profession and the community as a whole. Eligible nominees must be Tennessee attorneys with 5 to 15 years of practice, although those with up to 18 years of experience may still be considered. For more information visit the program online or contact Sims at (615) 383-7421 or bsims@tnbar.org. After Aug. 6, contact Prince at kprince@tnbar.org.
