Davidson County Clerk and Master Cristi Scott has announced that she will not seek reappointment when she completes her term in November. Scott has served in the role since being appointed by the county’s four chancellors in 2003. Individuals interested in being considered for the job are encouraged to attend an informational session Oct. 5 at noon in the jury assembly room of the historic county courthouse. The application process will be open from Oct. 5 to 19. All inquiries regarding the position should be directed to Trial Court Administrator Tim Townsend at (615) 880-2558. The chancellors also will honor Scott at a reception Oct. 28 at 3:30 p.m. in the courthouse’s jury assembly room.
