Clayton F. Mayo, an attorney in Madison County, received a public censure from the Tennessee Supreme Court on Oct. 14. The court found that he failed to communicate with a client, took no action on his client’s behalf and did not respond to the disciplinary complaint. In addition, the court reports that Mayo was suspended on Jan. 27, 2014, but did not inform his client and did not refund her fee. Read the BPR notice.
