TAX ATTORNEY;  REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY
Woolf, McClane, Bright, Allen & Carpenter PLLC, a full service law firm in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking candidates with 1-5 years of experience for its State and Federal Tax Practice.  Mergers and acquisitions experience and estate tax planning experience is preferred. 

The tax candidate must have excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as strong academic credentials, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team is required. An LL.M. in tax is preferred.

The firm is also seeking an associate with 2-4 years of experience working in real estate and transactional matters. The successful candidate will represent corporate clients, real estate developers, investors, and entrepreneurs in formation of business entities, negotiations, debt and equity financing, corporate governance, real estate transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Experience in matters involving complex contract drafting, deal structure, diligence, and closing transactions is preferred.

Qualifications for both candidates: Experience with a law firm and/or in-house. Admitted to the practice of law, and in good standing, in Tennessee. Ability to advise clients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the business objectives and risk/reward analysis. Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and to deal effectively with clients. Ability to understand and drive a project to successful conclusion.
