"You are more likely to be struck by lightning than commit in-person voter impersonation," analysis by the Brennan Center for Justice found. The group cites further analysis from The Washington Post, which found 31 credible instances of voter fraud between 2000 and 2014 — out of 1 billion ballots cast. The studies were released Wednesday in response to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's prediction earlier this week the election would be “rigged.” Trump cited court decisions blocking or loosening restrictive voting laws and his campaign also said there will be “massive fraud” this November.
