The Metro Nashville Police Department has released investigative records and interview recordings that shed new light on the November incident that led to the shooting of former metro councilman Loniel Greene, the Tennessean reports. The new details indicate that Greene confronted two men at a gas station parking lot, yelling at them and chasing them before one of the men shot him. The records also indicate that police believe that one of the two men was likely involved in drug-related activity that night with a third person in a nearby vehicle.
