Newly elected Chattanooga Bar Association President Bill Colvin was profiled by the Hamilton County Herald for his work fighting against attorneys who violate anti-solicitation rules or otherwise seek to exploit the public. Colvin cited the Woodmore school bus tragedy, in which five students died in a crash last November, as a catalyst for his crusade. As president, he said he also wants the bar to work towards educating the public on services local attorneys can provide. “We have to let people know LegalZoom is probably not the answer,” he said.
