The YWCA in Knoxville has named District Attorney General Charme Allen as a Tribute to Women finalist for Community Service and Government. As the first female to be elected to the office of District Attorney General in Knox County, Allen relies upon her lifelong experiences with the criminal justice system to pursue a multi-dimensional approach to prosecution.
