After months of turmoil that included the loss of federal support and ABA accreditation, the Charlotte School of Law is closing, the ABA Journal reports. A spokesperson for the North Carolina Attorney General’s office said that if the school did not shut down, the agency would take action to ensure that it does. The school’s alumni association president confirmed that the school has shut its doors, and the institution’s website has been taken down as well.
