Chief Justice Jeff Bivins summarized key areas of focus for the court this year — including indigent representation reform, juvenile justice reform and access to justice challenges — during the Knoxville Bar Association's Annual Supreme Court dinner Wednesday night. Joining Bivins at the podium was keynote speaker Cassius Cash, superintendent of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Cash spoke on the growth of visitors to the park, as well as his mission to reach out to young people in a more meaningful way about the importance of national parks. The Knoxville Bar Association also honored TBA Executive Director Emeritus Allan Ramsaur for his service to the profession.
