An East Tennessee man who threatened to kill his attorney after their relationship soured, will not have his appeal heard by the U.S. Supreme Court, the Roane County News reports. Leon Houston was convicted of transmitting a threat via interstate commerce after calling his girlfriend from prison and saying “I’ll kill that (expletive) when I get out.” The Sixth Circuit had earlier upheld the 2015 decision from U.S. District Judge Pamela Reeves.
