Former Knox County Trustee Mike Lowe was arrested yesterday for falling behind on restitution payments to the county for his admitted thievery, Knoxnews reports. Lowe was behind $13,450 on his payments, causing county Assistant District Attorney General Bill Bright to seek a warrant for probation violation against the former official. Lowe pleaded guilty in March 2015 to a scheme that robbed the county of more than $400,000.
