Tennessee House Rep. Harold Love Jr. announced today his run for mayor of Nashville, The Tennessean reports. Love, a Democrat, has served in the House since 2012, representing District 58. Love has also qualified to run for reelection for his current position. Both elections are expected to take place on Aug. 2, pending a Tennessee Supreme Court ruling on the mayoral vote. The Nashville Post has a list of all 11 candidates vying for the position.
