Knox County prosecutors have not yet decided if they will seek the death penalty for Eric Boyd, the fifth accused in the 2007 murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, Knoxnews reports. Boyd has not yet entered a plea for his charges of kidnapping, rape and murder. He has already been convicted for his role in harboring Lemaricus Davidson, who was found guilty of leading a group of men who carjacked, tortured and killed Christian and Newsom.
